During the broadcast of the last episode of the television series, it was announced that there will be a follow-up feature film, which is scheduled to be released in October of 2020.

It is one of the most successful manga series since, as of the month of May in the year 2020, the manga has a total circulation of over 80 million copies, and this number includes its digital version. A Narrative of a Demon Slayer
Tanjiro Kamado is a young boy who lives with his family during the Taisho period in the annals of Japanese history. He is a thoughtful young man with a kind heart, and he makes money by selling charcoal. The narrative is going to take place in Japan. Everything shifts after the demonic attack that takes the lives of his family. There is no longer any protection for his family (oni). Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko are the only individuals to have survived the disaster; however, Nezuko has now converted into a demon, and interestingly, she still displays indications of human emotions and intellect. Tanjiro is the only person to have survived the calamity. Tanjiro is the only one who made it out alive. After that, Tanjiro decides to take on the role of a demon hunter in the hopes of reverting Nezuko back to her human form and preventing other people from having to go through the anguish that he and his sister through.
